Swim Across America 2026 Kick-Off Event!

We are excited to announce Dr. Theodore Blaine is participating as a Team Captain in the upcoming Swim Across America Fairfield County Open Water Swim! Swim Across America is a non-profit that hosts charity swim events to unite communities in the fight against cancer. Established in 2007, Swim Across America - Fairfield County has donated more than $6 million to their beneficiary, Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT) in Stamford, CT.
Over 375 swimmers and volunteers, spectators, and supporters, as well as Olympians near and far attend these charity swims. Swimmers and families of all ages and skill levels are welcome to take part in their open water swim on Saturday, June 20th in Stamford, CT.
The kick-off event that took place in March 2026 went swimmingly, and Dr. Blaine, as well as director Nancy Carr, are looking forward to another amazing event this summer. If you are interested in learning more about this event, please click the link below.
